I do believe my @doublem-models.bsky.social GVT Beyer Peacock tram is complete, may do a little weathering here and there to cover a few blemishes, as well as finish the interior of the cab, but otherwise all she needs is a chassis (Ignore the Wren)

Another update on the #3Dprinted Porter compressed air locomotive. I think i'm on the home stretch with the project. The motor seems to be running very nicely, I'll have some running shots of it soon once I've rebuilt the motor for the final time. It's just the final detail parts. #modelrailroad

Took Stepney to the club for chassis testing. He runs well forwards with a bit of a wobble but refuses to run well in reverse. The wheels also keep coming unscrewed from their axles so I’ll have to sort that out. However he’s coming together quite nicely, need to make lining transfers #modelrailroad

Well the car failed... Leaky Sump, rust throughout and worn tires... I'll add it to the list of death traps I've driven in the past, along with the Citreon C1 with dodgy brakes and the Citreon Xsara with the smell of burning... (MOT was rescheduled to today).

Third revision, motor now fits, need to extend the rear screwmount so it’ll actually bolt down A new nozzle on the printer too, so the quality was a lot better, leading me to discover how much play is currently in the bearings Any guesses to what’s being made? :)

A sucker for Neilson singles so picked up 5 old prints at the Llanfair & Welshpool Railway show. Unfortunately 2 big 4 my scanner so had to piece 2 halves together but thought some might like to see. G&SWR No.159. No.1316 built in 1867. ? No.1458 built in 1869. Ireland? No.1783 built in 1873. (1/2)

I've had a preliminary look at the mechanism on the Royal Scot. GOOD NEWS is the axles are not split! Bad news is the main drive gear is missing a few teeth and I dare not check the intermediate gears at the moment. Nothing I can't fix but still means replacing a few things. #modelrailway

I wasn't looking to be buying new locos and the moment, but when I saw this whole set going for only £33 I couldn't say no. The loco is a Mainline, so it will probably fall victim to the split axle issue. But I fixed my Mainline J72 locos so it'll be no issue. #modelrailway #oogauge

I think it helps put the loco on the track.

After a bit of work, mostly fiddling with the power pickups, The Fitzwilliam is running once again. It’s a bit slow and draws a bit of power so it may need a new motor, but it’s ok for now. Really happy to see it running. Need to get some proper rolling stock to put behind it now. #modelrailroad
