Gideon, my first cat, really threw off my expectations for how quickly a street cat could learn to trust people. Gids went from the street to sleeping on my bed in one night, whereas I think Bruno is going to be more of a slow burn situation

Bruno came by for wet food and then… for a second serving of wet food (I was weak-willed). If he hears us moving around, he freezes or goes for the verandah stairs. He’s so scared of people! But also sometimes he sits in the bed outside the window to watch us sleep, so he also Yearns for people

Like, she’s never been GREAT at my pronouns but over the last few years she’s gone from 75% accuracy to 0%.
