Early reports suggest Global Affairs Canada has withdrawn sponsorship of a disinformation conference over a panel discussing the U.S. as a threat vector. If true, this is utterly embarrassing, and a sign Global Affairs is woefully unprepared to engage with the geopolitical context we are in.

This is a bit of free speech/freedom of association vs what is in a country or society's perceived best interests, i.e. majority view, so I'd be hesitant on legislation.
