I built a Chrome extension yesterday that injects a button into a shared mailbox in our Outlook web so that our admins can look up the given mail sender in our CRM with a single click. It was surprisingly easy! Love to make our Support team happy 😊.

Thanks for the nudge! I removed the browser check from all our apps. The weirdest thing is that this effectively blocks you from using the mobile device preview in the browser as all the virtual devices have too old User Agent strings… So weird!😣

I spent 2+ hours figuring out why our Action Mailbox does not recognize some emails and route them properly. The solution was to add the single letter "O" to our SMTP server config. Mailing is hard.

Postfix master.cf configuration file with forwarding to Rails settings and an "O" pipe command flag highlighted.

Had fun today converting some old blurry icons to SVGs using AI. After trying various free online tools I got some great results when upscaling the icons 4× with imgupscaler.com first and vectorizing them only after that. www.recraft.ai performed the best for me w/out needing any elaborate tweaks.

Finished my first more serious Docker + Kamal installation: - Kamal is very nice but it's just a thin layer so you have to learn Docker pretty well - dockerizing Chrome is doable but just… insanely tedious - didn't enjoy hardening Docker and it's incompabilities with ufw Overall, learned a ton! 😅
