When operated at full capacity this data centre would use the energy equivalent to over two million homes. Its emissions would exceed the legal limit in Dumfries and Galloway by almost double. This application must be rejected.

After a poultry plant shut down in July's heatwave, the UK's meat industry trade body called for processing sites to have "continuous access to water, irrespective of wider pressures on local supplies". When those sites use more water than Brighton, that matters. www.grilled.media/data-meat-in...

Sat for a coffee at Elm Row and counted the traffic for 15 minutes: 343 pedestrians 52 cyclists 2 cars Remind me why we’ve turned this public square into a car park? This is probably the best connected retail location in Scotland - trams, buses, walkable, busy cycle lane. Why ruin it?

This has nothing to do with pedestrian safety (or Council would do it on the bridges) They don't want to stop traffic using Candlemaker Row so now anyone who cycles has to dice with death. In less than 12 months Edinburgh Council will be parroting "cycling legacy" when Tour de France comes to town 🤮
