As a #familymedicine doc, I have seen multi-gen households, as well as kids taken in by older relatives to avoid one system, depend on minors to keep track of meds, to limit chance of wandering, even fulfill direct care needs. There has to be support w/o a disruption threat!

Remember the SNAP cuts in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill?” Children account for nearly half of the 2.4 million people who are no longer receiving SNAP in at least 19 states. The true number of kids impacted nationwide is unknown. This is horrifying. No child should go hungry.

Edward J. Mack died this morning at 83 yrs old. He loved his family, he loved the Dodgers & the Celtics, he loved reading, he loved soccer and women’s basketball. I miss him so much. I know that he was so done with being in the hospital after almost 40 days. My dad is the older guy in back row ❤️

My dad has been admitted for 34 days now- Trauma ICU, trauma floor, acute rehab for 4 hrs, MICU, Step Down, cardiac floor. We are trying to make the ‘right’ plan to get him out the hospital. It is so hard when we all remember what he was able to do / enjoy just 35 days ago 😔 Peaceful vibes please

In the last 3 weeks, my family has celebrated 3 birthdays, Mother’s Day, a baby shower and the life of a friend of 40+ years, all while my 83yo dad has been in the ICU. He is moving to a regular floor room tomorrow. We are hoping that May closes quietly. ❤️
