A graphic featuring black handwritten-style text set against an abstract background of pastel swirls in shades of blue, pink, purple, and white.

The text reads:

"SOME PEOPLE CANNOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME THEY EXPERIENCED PAIN

I CANNOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I HAD A PAIN FREE DAY"

"YOU WERE FINE YESTERDAY."

Chronic illness doesn’t follow a schedule.

Symptoms can shift in minutes. What’s manageable one day can be impossible the next.
Just because we looked okay yesterday doesn’t mean we are today.
This isn’t inconsistency—it’s the reality of an unpredictable condition.
Don’t assume our bodies work like yours do.

In My Shoes: Imagine waking up every day not knowing which version of your body you’ll get.

When you can't work because of chronic illness or disability.

What they think it is: endless free time, fun, do whatever you want whenever you want, vacations, laziness.

What it actually is: symptoms, symptom management, resting to recover, resting so you don't get worse, too much pain and fatigue to do anything, doctor's appointments, pharmacy runs, researching your illness, boredom, loneliness.

Stay hydrated, avoid direct sun when possible, and wear sun cream! Please share to spread the word.

Needing to lie down after a shower. Sometimes on the bathroom floor

Getting irrationally angry because the lights are too bright

Canceling because the idea of having to find parking already took too much out of you

Being too tired to sleep because your body is buzzing and your anxious about how much the lack of sleep will hurt tomorrow

Top Title: Hand-written text that reads, "when I say I'm TiRED", with the letters of "TiRED" drawn in block style and filled with light pink. A small logo for "Chronically Ill Meh" sits just below the title.

The List: Beneath the title, eight different text phrases are scattered, each contained within a soft, pastel-colored bubble (alternating between light blue and light pink):

"Tired of feeling nothing"

"Tired of feeling everything"

"Tired of playing catch up"

"Tired of existing like this"

"Tired of being depressed"

"Tired of pretending"

"Tired of every task being harder"

"Tired of being tired"

The Drawing: At the bottom, a person wearing pink pajamas is collapsed face-down on a light blue couch, hanging awkwardly over the armrest in a state of complete exhaustion.

Text: Large white text on a dark blue background below the photo reads: "‘But You Don’t Look Sick!’ New Study Reveals Most of Body on Inside"

I'm tired of people acting like positivity can fix a chronic illness.

Sometimes positivity runs out. That doesn’t make you weak.

You’re allowed to have days where nothing feels okay.

There's nothing 'negative' about being honest about how hard all of this is.

It's okay to do things slowly.

It's okay if doing the dishes takes you an hour.

It's okay if walking to the store and back takes up your whole morning.

It's okay if it takes you a year to finish a book.

It's okay if you need a moment to think between every step of a task.

It's okay if you need to sit down while getting dressed.

It's okay to eat slowly.

It's okay if you need things explained to you multiple times.

It's okay to be slow in any way whatsoever.
