Depended on two things. If you were on your own you stopped a lot to check one or more maps. If you had someone with you there was an expectation they would know where you were going, but this regularly resulted in arguments 😅

Even more bizarre how they’re not championed, GW is a midlands-based *manufacturer* and also a retailer, so while creativity is woven within it’s as much a manufacturing and retail success story as anything else!

Dear Blue-sky come on an adventure with me: Earlier someone posted a picture of some odd shaped lumps of metal on one of the Warhammer valuation FB groups. I instantly knew they were the Rhino Ablative Armour set (In production about '02-'04-ish). I helped out with the ID but it didn't end there.

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

This is devastating. I cannot overstate how important Howarth's storytelling style was to me when I started doing comics. He was on a whole other level. Hip, metatextual comics for musique concrete heads and Cthulu nerds, there was nothing else like it.

The decision was made so I am now playing Breath of the Wild and, mmm, that weapon fragility is unnecessary. Not just from a gameplay aspect but that it adds in so much extra UI. It’s a solution to a problem they created & moves away from your gear being *yours* in a Zelda

The best thing about GI Joe: Rise Of Cobra was that it was basically Action Force, a multinational antiterrorist group. The worst thing was how USA! USA! it was despite being a multinational antiterrorist group. I don’t think GI Joe works anymore. It’s pure nostalgia, barely selling toys.
