In the first map Greenland (shown in white) looks huge because of the distortion of objects closer to the pole while the 2nd view on a globe more accurately shows its small size. It is likely that Trump covets Greenland because he has only seen the distorted Mercator map.

Maybe you use similar terminology but I was taken by this line in a podcast "So free iron is a really bad thing. Free iron can cause you to rust. It is an active oxidant, and so, our body actually does a wonderful job from protecting us from rusting.
