Under Labour - growth for the South East of England at everyone else’s expense. Rachel Reeves is set to back Heathrow and Luton expansion. Yet it appears major rail spending will be frozen except for HS2 and two other English projects. Wales needs proper investment.

Working #women are frequently attested in the #Roman empire: the funerary stele of Sentia Amarantis depicts the deceased tapping wine from a barrel. She was an inn-keeper and died at the age of 45. The stele was set up by her husband. From Augusta Emerita/Mérida, 3rd c. AD. #ReliefWednesday 🏺

If that wasn't arseache enough, they wake me up at four in the morning to chant and tend a fucking beehive. As for pies, there hasn't been a sniff of one since the day I joined. Human rights are universal - if we start stripping away basic human rights from any section of society then none of us has rights – just privileges that can be taken away by people in power whenever they want. Would we really want to take that path?

The cost of securing coal tips has been estimated at £600 million. The UK Government committed just £25 million in the Budget. This frightening landslip in Cwmtillery is a reminder of the urgency with which our governments should be treating this issue.

Wikipedia article which reads Messier 79 (also known as M79 or NGC 1904) is a globular cluster in the southern constellation Lepus. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1780 and is about 42,000 light-years away from Earth and 60,000 light years from the Galactic Center.
