There are all kinds of reasons people don't buy a game. Don't like the genre, don't like the art style, too easy/hard, etc. But in those cases there will also typically be people who DO like the genre; DO like the art style; DO like the difficulty.

I have heard people buzzing about the new Star Wars game. Just a reminder that it is published by EA, which was recently bought out by some of the worst people in the world (Saudi prince MBS and Jared Kushner in particular). You must make your own choice, but I'm not buying or playing this game.
