I think they can make something with this change in leadership, I don't think I'd ever wanna throw away something that was such a big part of my life growing up. I'm wondering if they're gonna break from Sony and move over with Xbox to keep their stuff going in the future 🤔 It'll be interesting!

A lot of this gets lost in the pivot around whether the machine is meaningfully thinking, and I think a lot of people in today's conversations are pretty sure it is not.

But I think there's a lot of reason that people would resist the idea that the machines are thinking exactly because that would very much challenge our idea of ourselves and what makes us all unique in the world.

If that's the case, I'd tell people that they are unique and valuable regardless of what a machine does. I'd also add there's nothing wholly conclusive about the situation, but it does seem that the measures for reasoning are a moving target in popular discussion

If you use the later versions of CSP, you can also see about turning on Perceptual Color Mixing on the painting brushes (if they aren't on already in the brush settings). The color blending ends up a lot more realistic to me with it on, and they are less prone to turning muddy/gray from overblend!

There was this really good set of pencil brushes called Intoxicate Pencils, but the creator removed them off the CSP Assets for some weird reason. I still have them all on my end and people can share brush files, but it's more of a hassle compared to the downloading from the store way.
