cheers! worth considering that mkii have chainaxes and mkiv have chainswords

here's some of mine, used Corsair bits for the grenade, CSM launcher for the rad launcher with the spikes cut off. I like the profile it has more than the original model, more mobile looking

I've put a set of volkites in my unit but it's really up to you, I think they're a versatile unit that can easily become a priority target because of how many different things they can threaten. my SoH do assault shooting at full ballistic skill so I have more of a reason for upgraded guns

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

destroyer assaults have chainswords too right? you get the added bonus of assault weapons in the charge

Loyalist Dark Angel Librarian Miria. Base model is the traitor esoterist and the staff head came from the old 40k marine command squad kit.

A dark angels librarian wearing mk vi armour. They have red robes over black armour. In their left hand is a staff with a winged skull atop and their right hans is held upwards.

Looks even better with the planks of wood from where it's been smashed.

The model mounted on a base with gravel PVAd to it, and loads of planks of wood scattered about

everyone else is giving good advice here, another one to try is attempt to boot without the CPU installed whatsoever. the bios should be able to boot without a CPU and you can rule it out as an issue this way

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

you can float them in water to check, if they sink they're totally fine, if they float they're old. if they're somewhere between then they're still good but close to going off

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

they're putting something in them to make them taste that good, something that will be a known issue in the future like lead paint or asbestos. but even if it was both of those things I would probably keep eating them

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

the jalapeno ones are my all-time favourite, they are unreasonably good. it's a shame they're so difficult to source in Scotland

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

all I'm saying is that they've never been unique, as far as I'm aware. I can go through and find all the little bits on the sternguard kit if that helps

000

"james" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @bearsaroundhere.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

they are constituent parts at least, the knee pads are interchangeable as are the tabards, arms and heads. I don't see anything unique here

The new Kaius Konorius lands out soon alongside the Space Marines Codex and when Games Workshop sent one my way I did the only thing I could. Paint him as a Patriarchs of Ulixis Space Marine of course! Recipe here: vincentknotley.wordpress.com/2026/09/29/k... #Ad #WarhammerCommunity #New40k #AdWIP
