Its unfortunate that Ireland was not part of this survey, the country with the greatest exposure to Brexit, considering a similarly sized country like Portugal is included.

With Spain going to the polls on 26 November, Politico's 'Poll of Polls' has the centre-right PP leading at 34%, while Pedro Sánchez's PSOE is on 26%. But this period has been marked by the steady rise of far-right Vox ("Voice"), whose performance will be key in Nov. www.politico.eu/europe-poll-...
This image is a line time-series graph of opinion 'poll of polls' of political parties in Spain over the last three years. It has the centre-right People's Party (PP) continually the most popular party over that period, now at 34% as of 5th October 2026. The graph has the centre-left Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), the party leading the current government, continually in second place over that period, and is now at 26% support. In third is Voice (Vox), a far-right wing party that was initially at the start of this graph, three years ago, at 11% in opinion polls and is now at 18%. The graph contains information for nine other political parties, but they are all at 5% or lower in this poll of polls, and have all remained in and around that over that period.

What on earth is happening?
  This had become the new normal. RNLI crew members had been forced to take their permits off their cars after their tyres have been repeatedly slashed. Most of them have been pilloried at the school gates or turned away from local pubs. One man who worked in search and rescue had been beaten unconscious and hospitalised, recognised for TV interviews he had done.

@MSF
On 13 September, an MSF bus carrying 10 humanitarian staff in Gaza City was damaged by an Israeli airstrike on a targeted vehicle just two metres away. One of our colleagues was injured in the strike.
The bus was clearly identified as an MSF vehicle, with a large MSF sticker visible on its roof. Once again, Israeli forces have shown a blatant disregard for the safety of humanitarian and medical personnel.
Nowhere is safe in Gaza. Civilians, healthcare workers and humanitarian staff must be protected. Clearly marked medical and humanitarian vehicles must be spared from attacks.

A massive burying of the lede in the Tullow RFC story that went out yesterday. Horrendous and completely unacceptable behaviour in the first part, but the silence from Tullow that has followed is also unacceptable. It amounts to tacit protection of those who wronged, rather than the victims in this.

The Milo stuff is the perfect picture of fascism. You think you're protected because you go as big as you can on racism, you spend years harassing the movement's perceived enemies, you even disavow your own sexuality. They'll still throw you in a cage over the tiniest disagreement already forgotten.

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.
