Hi! So I checked on this because it sounded interesting, and turns out both were part of the same norm from 2020 NOM-051-SCFI/SSA1-2010 Basically one of the rules say "no characters if black labels apply" Some cereals actually changed their recipe to add the characters back!

Bazcus @bazcus.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Nice! Now I'm curious to see how those look

000

Bazcus @bazcus.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Haha, probably. Last I checked from a ranking from 2022, Mexico dropped to the 44th place in child obesity. Still high, but not as bad as before

000

Bazcus @bazcus.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Also shown, all foods with high levels of sugar, calories, sodium, fats, etc. must have a big black stamp for each Here we see that Cap'n Crunch has 3 of these, while Froot Loops has 2

Bazcus @bazcus.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

A fun fact about Mexico So there was a point where Mexico ranked as one of the highest rates of child obessity in the world To control this, new laws were made where foods with high levels of sugar could not have cartoon mascots So cereals were impacted

A picture of O’Brien from DS9 with all-text caps overlaid:

It’s shit now but it won’t always be
Happiness comes in waves
You will find it and feel it again

Oh my god. Having English as a second language means lots of words I have only ever read but never heard. Then there's shit like "schedule" which I have heard in at least 2 different ways, and both sound wrong

a comic about this stupid dream I had

A comic. Panel 1: Emma is standing at her bathroom mirror, her hair is pulled back and she’s putting on mascara. Panel 2: Emma, facing away, pulls on a top over her bralette and skirt. Panel 3: we see Emma’s hand reaching for a fake mustache. Panel 4: She is affixing it to her face. She looks frustrated.

A comic. Panel 1: A newscaster sits at a desk and speaks to the camera. “Beginning today, the Factual Accuracy in Gender Roles Act goes into full effect. Panel 2: B-roll of two women sitting at a table, talking. They are each wearing fake mustaches. Voiceover: “the controversial new law requires transgendered individuals to wear state-mandated accessories that identify them by their assigned sex at birth. Panel 3: a politician speaks angrily into several microphones. “No longer can these deceitful transgenders hide their TRUE selves!” Panel 4: The newscaster says: “to provide funding for the new initiative, public libraries will be closed statewide on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays, and weekends.”

A comic. Panel 1: Emma, wearing a fake mustache, pushes a shopping cart through the produce section of a grocery store. Panel 2: A man wearing a large ribbon in his hard approaches from the other direction. Panel 3: they pass each other and share a glance. Emma feigns a smile under her mustache. The man frowns. Panel 4: they each continue walking in their own directions, both looking down.

A comic. Panel 1: a trans journalist speaks to the camera. “Great news today from Pennsylvania where state legislature has voted to repeal a recently-instated law that was negatively affecting its gender-nonconforming community. Panel two: a selfie of someone in women’s lingerie with a bow on the back of their head. VO: the state-mandated gender markers became widely fetishized almost immediately upon going into effect. Panel 3: VO: “public outcry swiftly followed in response to the markers’ newfound lewdness.” An interview with an angry mother is shown: “women parading around publicly in fake mustaches?? I don’t care what they do behind closed doors — just stop rubbing it in our faces!” Panel 4: The journalist says, “to fund the repeal, public libraries in the state will no longer open Thursdays.”

It’s a really cool brush set! I got it for CSP, but they have it available for basically every drawing program and it comes with a cheat sheet of what ratio of CMYK to use to make something like 374 different colours www.truegrittexturesupply.com/collections/...
