People will really throw it all away to talk about genderbent character from the "Racism McSlur" and "Poopus Removus" novel series that's actively used to fund hatred against trans people

I can’t be the only one who sees the term Larp or Larper being used and not go: “Man, Gatekeeping has gotten worse and it’s disgusting that it’s been normalized”.

Nintendo direct had no Xenoblade Genesis news but the update to 3 has killed the worst fan theory in Xenoblade history by revealing the child of Mythra. It’s peak.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

theverge.com

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

Please be vocal about not using AI. We have to normalize it. No "I'm not going to say that because it should be assumed. I'm not going to give them this". We don't have time for that shit ideological shit right now. NOW is the time to capitalize on waning favorability. Ppl want human made

Alright, last thing I’m gonna say about all this is that there is a clear distinction between content that is INSPIRED by old titles (Eden, Ivalice, Crystal Tower) and content that is a direct CROSSOVER (NieR, Vana’diel, FF7), and that line needs to be acknowledged lest we be disingenuous here.

The 8-man raids always introduced a unique B-Plot for the expansion, and I really wanted something like that for the Fourth, in the same vein as Eden with the First or Arcadian with the Ninth. I’m not excited for this whatsoever.

Mostly through the keynote. Still excited for Evercold. Not sure about the raid series announcements but eh it could be worse. (As much as I am a FF7 disliker) Brain is thinking about the Fourth version of my Azem.

Gen AI use is actual weaponized incompetence. Yes I am absolutely judging you if you would rather support the theft and environmental destruction that generative AI causes than actually try to do any task.

I used faceclaims for characters and because one did not look ethnically exactly like the culture of the character (it was for Type Moon RP) that I was racist. The guy claiming this of multiple people on that server was using Genshin faceclaims a lot soooooo

The new FFXIV stalking plugin has been taken down! The github shows a 404 error.

Screenshot reads "Memoria set out to remember the people you crossed paths with in Eorzea: every sprout you helped, every static that drifted apart, every stranger you could swear you had partied with before.

The service is now closed, and all collected player data has been permanently deleted.

To everyone who installed it, tested it, and helped make it better: thank you. You made a solo project feel like a team.

See you in game."

"This game is bad!" "The series changed too much!" "It's way too easy now!" Then play another game. Turn it off. Play something else. You probably have hundreds of games in your backlog, unplayed. Nobody is forcing you to play games that make you unhappy. And if a series is 'too far gone', let go.
