In light of the report highlighting how the UCP sacrificed the lives and health of meat-packing plant workers for Cargill's profits, the racist referenda scapegoating immigrants for the UCP's incompetence must be cancelled, and the government must issue an apology to the workers and their families.

Low key don't understand how you can be someone who loves city infrastructure and mobility and look at photos like this and think it's not relevant and doesn't matter when it comes to the fight for safe transportation.

There is a lot of white privilege in mobility advocacy. I think many of us need to check ourselves when we are thinking transportation issues exist in a vacuum.

Carney is truly the Reagan of Canada. A calming, paternalistic figure in a period of apocalyptic uncertainty who galvanizes the economy with short-sighted right wing fiscal policies. And like Reagan, every disaster that Canada encounters in the future will be traceable to his administration.

Liberals literally only care about aesthetics while doing exactly what trump would do. As long as they seem “smart and articulate” while doing the worst austerity we’ve seen in decades, their supporters will lap it up.
The thing about him is not only is he smart, articulate and has an air of refinement to him but he's also very charming and still very down to earth. He's someone you know you can grab a beer with at the local pub.
On the world stage, he is commanding and is able to hold an audience with his words without needing to dumb it down for the normal people. And he's not regurgitating phrases and words that PP is so used to doing. Carney is exactly the kind of leader we need right now, compared to the Buffoon down south.

This entire investment summit has been a huge selling off and privatization party and it's infuriating that most of the mainstream news I've heard of this just repeats Carney's words of "investment". We are so fucked.

I have a crank conspiracy that a lot of pro-autumn memes come out of places like California where their summers are hell and winters are mild. Like how can someone who lives in a place with 6 months of cold ass winter look forward to fall? Our summers here are so nice and not that hot (yet!).
