Waited on him while bartending @ MSP. He grabbed a spot at the standing bar that was blocked by a pillar; an isolated corner we’d use for luggage overflow. He read his book and ate, hiding in plain sight. I think I was the only one who knew he was even there.

One of our blvd tree’s root system just sorta snapped and now it’s leaning into the street. Forestry is taking it down later this week, but it’s been a delight watching inattentive drivers slam into it the last few days.

Trees don’t behave this way unless they’re really stressed and missing the support structure at home to keep them grounded.
