This is a big deal. As I explore on my book, confusion/misinformation about IUDs led to coverage of the contraceptives being cut from government programs in a bunch of states after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

i know of at least three people (myself included) who have gotten substandard generics this month for three different types of medications. fortunately, none of them are life threatening. but in my case it sucks because it impacts my appearance and i have a conference i am presenting at this week

PSA for any PhDs required to submit their dissertation to ProQuest: The only way to stop them from adding your work to Turnitin and iThenticate is to opt out of making your work “discoverable through Google Scholar and other major search engines.” It doesn’t actually say Turnitin anywhere 🤷‍♀️
