Extremely excited for my next project (currently titled "Lichwood: Restless/Pieces") which is an ambitious attempt to add my own spins to the brand new Medusalaire system framework. I spent like all of yesterday working on it, for better and for worse. Super looking forward to testing it.

I was then going to add oracle tables for simulating someone coming over for dinner and even toyed with making it a duet game, but I was afraid of creating a shameful fail-state. The game should reward the player. In this way, I even struggled with the final map-traveling idea.

Making CHC:HD was a bit of a challenge. The idea came to me in a flash, but the means to reward the player changed. At first it was just gamified cleaning which earned you guilt-free break time or even spending money, but that didn't feel TTRPG-enough for a jam.

Just this week I was looking at tools like this! I fed in a sheet of every Rider-Waite card since its palette is interesting to me and I am very pleased. This was a really solid sample, and adjusting the palette size usually got me distinct enough new colors.

Library stacks at the University of Michigan. These places are enchanted spaces and I love them. It's here that you'll find the old, forbidden, forgotten, dusty books of trouble, rebellion, resistance, and knowledge. This place doesn't care about bestsellers, face-out displays, etc.
