The John Coltrane Centennial is here today. He only lived for 40 of those years. The world’s heaviest spirit, left behind a monumental legacy that we’re lucky to be able to continue sifting through, maybe even for eternity. God bless Trane. ❤️‍🔥 Dedication from LeRoi Jones/Amiri Baraka’s Black Music.

Soon after moving we won a contract from Greenwich Healthy Living Service, part of the borough council, to create more than 100 walking and cycling routes centred on children and health centres

someone shared their experience of reading Continent with me and maybe I should go back to it and share pages that mean the most to me once and a while here's one, from "Archipelagoes"
sink in grasses' say what'll sign now
plover murmurations
who'll wrap us
and drift
listening with seasons
a name's shifting
hours
swarm
where's
counselled
by wind's rufflings
I stray
not to know but wonder what no
discord may feather
trying to feel limbs
pulse as questions
just that
radii open
a tempest fragrant edge
with a gesture that could land us where we have only alighted
how to be livable here
trial
syntax undertow
water's
rise from
wave's cadences remain me
and choral

I guess these trailers lined up in the lot off the highway will do.
I guess that crooked eucalyptus tree also.
I guess this highway will have to do and the cars
and the people in them on their way.
The present is always coming up to us, surrounding us.
It's hard to imagine atoms, hard to imagine
