still working on the dsh one! will be there soon github.com/astahmer/dsh... bb plugins are there; i'm quite happy with them given how little effort I put in github.com/astahmer/bb-... and the overall setup is in github.com/astahmer/nix...

dsh seems promising but it still looks early and the bb DX is soooo much better for now; tho that can be fixed so i guess t3code wins short/mid-term but if it doesnt get a plugin system in the future then i'd bet on bb/dsh/opencode v2 (havent tried that one yet!) long-term

alex @astahmer.dev · 06/10/2026
t3code, with orchestrator v2 finally merged, is like if codex had opencodex built-in which is awesome & should be your main harness if you want a batteries-included one with 0 effort but if you want to customize it and make it your own then bb is an excellent alternative

alex @astahmer.dev · 06/10/2026
people should really stop using TUIs as harnesses; it makes no sense the DX is horrible you can't even see what you paste; trying to read content in there is a nightmare.. why are you inflicting that yourself that said pi extensibility is really awesome

Let’s start with something basic like getting diagnostics. Not too much to say about this. Each API call like this is communicating over STDIO with the tsgo process. We'll see some details in a minute.

do this, thank me later
## Response sections and feedback

When proposing work, requesting feedback, or showcasing changes:

- Use indexed items so the user can answer precisely: `1`, `2`, `3` for one
section; `A1`, `A2`, `B1` when there are multiple sections.
- Put completed or proposed changes under a clearly labeled `SHOWCASE`
section when presenting them for review.
- Add a clearly labeled `FEEDBACK NEEDED` section only when a real user
question or decision is needed. Put every question there, indexed, and keep
it separate from `SHOWCASE`; omit the section when there are no questions.

it supports fast inference (even on huge openapi files) with full discoverability (everything is just an autocomplete away) using types generation instead of relying on the schema validation library direct inference; tho you can still import the generated schemas

The Atmosphere is a new open network of apps and services that all work together. It's like truly owning your Google Account. Instead of every app being its own walled garden, Atmosphere apps share a common foundation, so you only need one account to use them all, and they can easily share data.

this is huge (if implemented). as i understand it, this is a protocol extending atproto that lets you declare member-only spaces (e.g. forums, groups, or something more exotic) holding data that different apps can read and write. so — like atproto, but with access control

I feel like that's the biggest issue in our industry and AI has just multiplied that tenfold. Software that improves people's lives is created with care. I feel like we're teaching a generation of developers that it's totally normal for stuff to be broken all the time. Not sure how to solve this.
