do this, thank me later
## Response sections and feedback

When proposing work, requesting feedback, or showcasing changes:

- Use indexed items so the user can answer precisely: `1`, `2`, `3` for one
section; `A1`, `A2`, `B1` when there are multiple sections.
- Put completed or proposed changes under a clearly labeled `SHOWCASE`
section when presenting them for review.
- Add a clearly labeled `FEEDBACK NEEDED` section only when a real user
question or decision is needed. Put every question there, indexed, and keep
it separate from `SHOWCASE`; omit the section when there are no questions.

it supports fast inference (even on huge openapi files) with full discoverability (everything is just an autocomplete away) using types generation instead of relying on the schema validation library direct inference; tho you can still import the generated schemas

i accidentally made the best openapi client generator (again) and now it supports any TS schema validation lib, has an Effect based client, has a first-class Tanstack Query adapter, allows filtering to only some endpoints.. without plugins, just a few flags

I figured I couple one of my API client lib with tanstack query and since it was almost compatible with what we had, I just refactored the whole codebase in 1 go by inlining 90% of the (1-time use) queries everyone found this approach much simpler and we deleted 4k lines github.com/astahmer/typ...

I used to have lots of xxx.queries.ts files (where xxx was the domain) that contained a bunch of queryOptions defined with the query factory pattern.. and it was so verbose, so boilerplate-y, everyone hated having to do this so.. 1/2

is there a way to enforce a minimum of characters before TS intellisense starts searching for any symbol in the whole project+node_modules+globals ? ideally I'd keep suggestions from the current file but remove anything else before 3 characters as it can be quite slow to load

made a plugin that adds data-attributes to each JSX component: - data-at (where it was defined) - data-in (in which component is it being used) - data-kind (what is the component name) each of these data-attribute can be disabled/renamed `pnpm add -D unplugin-jsx-source` github.com/astahmer/unp...

currently updating a NodeJS backend with `"moduleResolution": "NodeNext"` & tsconfig `--allowImportingTsExtensions` -> now every imports need explicit extensions couldnt find a codemod for that so I made one, benefits of being comfortable manipulating ASTs 🤌
this shows the codemod snippet, gist will be linked below
