John Adair, owner of Sooke Brewing Company, wore a "Show Me the Evidence" shirt at work on September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The evidence of children who died at residential schools is well documented in survivor testimony, school records, school cemeteries and the Truth and
Reconciliation Commission's final report.

He chose to wear that shirt at his business on that day. Choices have consequences.

I find so much of this revisionist histroy about Sir John A so weird, 'cause as a kid I knew 2 things about him - 1. He was our first prime minister 2. He was an alcoholic. Now I know all the other crap he did. But the guy was never what I would call a role model or stand up citizen.

I love walking around neighbourhoods and seeing plants seed outside their pots or in other peoples gardens. There is this one house near me that grows tons of pansies and violas and you can see the way the wind blows by how many of them have seeded in their neigbours yards down the street.

Reminder that Carney has cut funding for Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Indigenous and Northern Affairs, and Indigenous Services. And he has rolled back climate protections, abandoned emissions targets, and is building more pipelines.

Carney:

"The wildfire situation has escalated significantly over the last three weeks across the country, and particularly in Northwestern Ontario.

Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their communities, not knowing if their homes will survive.
