Remixes are not usually my thing. But rearrangements for completely different instrumentation? That's 100% my cup of tea. OK Go crushed it with these handbell arrangements of older tunes. paracadute.bandcamp.com/album/on-bells

Our drink prices are very reasonable (for Cincinnati). And we have options across the spectrum as well as our own beer. But bar spending is down and that used to subsidize the artist's pay a lot more. Now ticket prices need to go up, and no one likes that either.

It has been rough! The economy in general affecting overall spending . Drinking habits changing faster than business models. Online promotion and media not really working well for unknown artists.

I always appreciate it when people express an interest in my safety. I encourage people to expand that concern beyond plastic hats. I've needed helmets: they can help! But please also ask drivers to slow down, judge people with dangerous trucks or habits, and ask leaders to build separated lanes.

Artists add the credits from their release. If the person credited is not on Ratio yet, the credit waits until they make a profile, and nothing appears on anyone's page until they confirm it. Trying to make this a little music resume assembler. ratio.fm

Ratio can tell you who played on a record now, not just who released it. A musician gets a page of their own, for the human rather than the band: what they play, who they play with, and everything they have been credited on across every project.

Pedestrianization is often framed as transforming streets. In many cases, we're actually restoring them. We're reclaiming what's been lost: social connection, local commerce, civic life, and human-scale movement. Perhaps it's time to shift from street transformation to street restoration.

Also new on Ratio: Artists get a Fans tab that shows who follows them, since when, and how many minutes each fan has actually spent with their music, which is a number no other platform will show them (that I know of). Data is exportable, and it's theirs to keep. Power to the artists!
