If you get a wake, the boat is traveling faster than the speed of proportion of those waves in water. The faster you go, the narrower your wake is. Sonic booms are the audible wake of sound waves in air, and Cherenkov Radiation is the luminous wake of high energy particles in air or water.

Happy goats, delighted to eat invasive leafy spurge, burdock, and wormwood. Might be the last new grass patch they get this year before all the grass dies from cold weather and they switch to eating hay until like... May. We'll see...
