There's a subtle kind of pleasure in shutting down a VM on a FreeBSD host. You suddenly see the RAM becoming available again on the host, and then, little by little, being "taken over" by the ZFS ARC cache. I don't know, it sounds like such a trivial thing, but I find it fascinating. #FreeBSD #ZFS
