Summer Screams - Chaos Shuffle

Benedict is dressed in a Victorian style hat, sunglasses, ascot, and swimtrunks. The text reads:

A curious thing to be dressed in revealing sea-side attire where there is no ocean or beach to be seen. I am not normally one to bear such an artistic amount of naked flesh, but the Entity hungers.

28 July - Standing in an empty field, I vacantly stared at the hazy orange sky in what must have looked like an upright corpse, trying to make sense of my own thoughts.

I felt like I had lost all sense; everything I knew left behind at the campfire, infused instead with a jumble of ephemeral proficiencies which I’d soon forget.

Tae-Young gives a thumbs up to a hunched over and bleeding Benedict. They both have the anti-heal icon above their heads.

One skill I recognized instantly as a curse for myself and at least one other, as we were both injured from the start. I confess, I was ready to yield; for what is the point when you are certain your fate has been sealed so soon?

Benedict is face down in the dirt.

Groans escaped my lips as I struggled to help the team. What could I do? The villain found me first and was sure to send me away before anyone else, and for that I am glad.

Summer Screams - Lights Out

This comic is almost all black, heavy inks and minimal color. Lery's Memorial is lit only by the light from the roof in the observation room. Benedict stands in the center looking at the monitors above.

4 August- A murky, boundless gloom buried these realms in darkness. I am no stranger to the shadows, yet this time felt very different.

Opening my eyes in a familiar hospital, I squinted, waiting for what seemed an eternity for the relief of sight that never came.

Benedict is in a dark hallway, with his sunglassses on, arms reaching out into the darkness.

Meandering through the void, my hand felt its way along endless cold tiles. Still, I managed to find a machine. I could still be of some use to the others here.

A vile tone rang through the air, bringing with it the darkest black; a most incomprehensible abyss.

Close at hand came the wails of many souls and a sloshing meat sound, followed by great claws picking me up from behind. My bowels quickly fled my body and I passed out.

The terror was crushing and I wish never to experience that again. The joke was on me as I would experience The Dredge many times.

Sgt Rock! If you ever want to really enjoy some good comics, I highly recommend digging into any of Joe Kubert's Sgt Rock stories. They are amazing. Mostly because of what Kubert brought to it. I took a crack at Sarge, but Kubert is the only one who can really do the character justice.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.
