"Ruby-Crowned Kinglet Diamond"
4"x4" oil painting on panel
A tiny bird seemed appropriate for the tiny painting size. I love kinglets and have had some really cool experiences with them. Their curiosity and tendency to mingle with groups of chickadees has led to some close encounters.
![Speedpaint: Dragon 01 (Speedpaint 01)
Digital painting of a bluish black dragon from the hips up. The dragon enters the image from the left side, and the hands and tips of the wings are also cropped out. It has a coiled S-shaped neck plated with large scales, and smaller rounder scales cover the rest of its body.
Its eyes and multiple pits on its face glow blue. On its back, a bright white rim light illuminates it, and a fiery orange light glows from beneath it.
The background is black with orange mist around the bottom and edges.
