I haven't drawn anything, not even a single sketch in days, so I thought I'll post some old art again. Here's a painting from 2020 I still like a lot, because those details are so good. It's a shame I don't have the same energy I used to have years ago. #dragon #art

I like vampires as mythical creatures a lot, but I could never be one, because my love for organic garlic is far greater. Now I have a slightly better chance to survice through the dark and cold winter. 🧄

Speaking of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, I've taken waaay too many screenshots and videos while playing. Here's some I find the funniest.

I'm still a bit burned out after Smaugust, but at least I got some motivation to start doodling in Tomodachi Life again. I'm corrupting all the kids on my island.

I went through some photos from last year and found a nice collection of cloud pics. I always miss big fluffy clouds like these during winter.

Gotta enjoy these evenings and sunsets while we still can. Autumn winds already chill my bones.

Aight, it's the first day of the (hopefully) last year in school. It's time to bring this square sketchbook with me to the lectures again.

Smaugust 2026, day 31: Smaug or other pop-culture dragon. It's the last day of the month! I'm pretty exhausted now, but here's one more drawing for you: a dragon from Studio Ghibli's Tales From Earthsea. Thanks for everyone who followed my journey! #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 30: falling. The month is almost over and I didn't skip a day, yay. I wanted to try something a bit different this time though, so I made this small doodle. I kinda like it, it's not my usual style. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 29: gathering. I got this idea of a dragon picking up stuff with its tongue and stashing it in a neck pouch some time ago. The design itself is pretty simple, but my creative energy is running pretty low already. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

It's been almost three months since I started playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, and so far I've successfully wasted over 200 hours on it (my island just hit the rank 500). Though, I'm pretty sure this game has helped me to get through this nightmare of a summer at least somewhat sane.

Smaugust 2026, day 28: staring. The easiest, quickest and laziest doodle featuring my OC today because I didn't really feel like drawing right after work but didn't want to skip a day this close to the end of the challenge. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 27: exploding. Just a small and simple doodle today because I'm busy (I might have to skip tomorrow, sad). This dragon is small, but difficult to attack from above because its back is covered with acid-filled blisters. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 25: chomping. What's more terrifying than a hippo? A flying hippo-dragon of course. I wanted to draw a dragon that has almost comical proportions, and I think this chonky creature fits into that category quite well. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 24: spouting. These doodles are getting smaller and lazier with each passing day, but at least I might be able to finish the whole list this time. Maybe whale dragons spout scalding hot water and create thick mist clouds when they hunt? #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 23: striking. Instead of striking with its claws, this dragon uses a lance-like tail to pierce the prey. A simple doodle again, but it's what helps me to stay in schedule. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

I don't usually eat sushi, but today I tried one that was probably the weirdest to ever exist: a nigiri topped with Finnish squeaky cheese and cloudberry jam. Honestly it was 1/5, but when it comes to trying weird foods, I'm sometimes a daredevil.

Smaugust 2026, day 21: dancing. I was inspired by birds' courtship displays, but afterwards I started to think about the war dance of weasels. Maybe the glowing patterns can be used to hypnotize the prey when the dragon shakes its wings? #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 19: conjuring. Hey, who taught the kobold how to cast spells (or gave them a permit to join Brimmed Caps)? I'm still busy with other things, so the mandatory kobold was easy enough to doodle in a hurry. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #kobold

Smaugust 2026, day 16: overheating. I tend to draw big dragons that are either elegant or menacing, but sometimes I feel like I have to give a chance for smaller, rougher beasts. I could have paid more attention to shading, but I got tired. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 15: own choice. Wow, we're halfway there already. I took it easy again and doodled the feathered dragon you may have seen quite many times already, but I tried to draw it from a different angle this time, to practice a little more. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

The weather has been a little sad here in Finland this summer. Some days have been so cool and rainy that I actually got a bit hyped when the forecast said it might be +19 °C today. Though, I don't mean to complain, because it's always easier to deal with cooler temperatures than heatwaves.

Smaugust 2026, day 14: glimmering. Ice can be such a beautiful element, but it's also very dangerous. I only like winter when there's lots of glimmering snow, dealing with ice each year is driving me nuts. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

Smaugust 2026, day 13: guiding. It's an ancient guardian dragon guiding lost souls out of the forest, or something, idk. Smaugust 2026, day 12: galloping. Here's a simple little doodle of my drakewarden ranger's drake companion, Utu. Everyone is always dunking on rangers in D&D, but at least this subclass has been fun to play. Who wouldn't want to ride a goddamn drake into the battle? #smaugust #smaugust2026 #dragon

It's wonderful to see that my Smaugust posts are getting some exposure here in Bluesky, so thanks for everyone who's liking, sharing or following (I reached 200 followers too, yay)! I'm actually doing better here than in IG, its algorithm has buried me so deep that posting there is almost pointless.
