2nd time i asked a doc for a hysterectomy bc we were getting nowhere solving my fibroids, i was told "imagine you have a woman who has kids, gets a hysto, and then they die. If she eventually gets a new partner and wants kids with him, she'll regret it" and i had to nod along like it wasn't insane

My new sister, Faith, had a growth removed from her throat 2 weeks ago. The cytology reports just came back. NO CANCER! Sobbing. Just sobbing here. Yay, Faith! We adopted Faith a few weeks ago. She came from a hoarding situation of over 100 animals. We aim to give her the best life ever.
