Outdoor dinner with my mom and husband on our wedding anniversary weekend. Another celebratory garden bouquet 💐 Mismatched #pottery, as always—two cups and vase by me, one cup by David MacDonald, candle by #EastFork, mom’s manufactured dishaware.
A decorative clay vase filled with colorful flowers, including orange and purple blooms, sits on a wooden table next to a lit candle in a turquoise holder. Green foliage surrounds the flowers, and a blurred background features lush greenery.A beautifully set outdoor table features three plates of pasta with chicken and roasted vegetables, accompanied by decorative napkins and mugs. A colorful flower arrangement and a candle add a cozy ambiance to the scene.

Fall greenhouse cleaning always makes it look so good. The outside, in particular, was super dirty. I haven't been cleaning in the spring because it is empty in the summer but I think I'll probably start. #gardening #greenhouse #pnw
A glass greenhouse with green supports around the glass, photo taken showing the long side. The roof is freshly washed and looks pretty and clear. There are lots of flowers in pinks and oranges in beds in front of the greenhouse from a warm fall. Cleaning supplied lean against the front side of the greenhouse along with a wheelbarrow. The day is dry and sunny but the greenhouse is in the shade

Looking at a small open area in a more landscaped section of the property with freshly laid reddish barkdust. Behind the opening are 3 Japaenese maples, one in orange hues on the left, the a short mounded one in red, and then a medium one in shades of yellow. The sun is shining and making the taller orange tree glow. The other trees and plants in the area are all still green. A stone table sits in the opening, shining due to the mica present in it.

Wife has finished her #Crochet Projekt. The wreath is made of wood, the rest is wool. It looks pretty cool!
A close-up of a charming hand-crocheted wreath bursting with autumn warmth. Crocheted orange slices in bright shades of yellow and orange sit alongside brown cinnamon sticks tied neatly with a white ribbon, while green leaves and plump red berries fill the gaps between them. The decorations are attached to a light-colored grapevine base, giving the piece a natural, rustic texture. Every element is lovingly handmade, with the vibrant yarn colors evoking the cozy scents and hues of fall and winter — oranges, spice, and berries gathered in one decorative circle ready to welcome the season.

This warm, dry fall is accelerating the pawpaw harvest, which was looking pretty slow. We have 3 varieties putting on their first fruit this year. One was a lot firmer than other varieties when it fell off the tree but still with the sweet pawpaw flavor. #gardening #GrowYourOwn #pnw
5 pawpaws sit on a countertop, three larger fruit clustered on the left and 2 smaller ones on the right. A quarter (coin) sits between them to give an idea of scale. The fruit are each some mix of green, yellow, and brown

Ha, these 2 juvenile red crossbills came bombing down to the fountain for a drink while I was standing next to it. I had my phone in my pocket and managed a couple of OK pics. A goldfinch decided to join them, looking for a bath. #birding #birds #BirdsOfMastodon #pnw
Two stripey birds with a yellow wash perch on the edge of the top bowl of a two-tiered fountain. The closer one has its back to the camera but the other is sideways to the camera so you can see it's cheek and bill. A smaller, plainer goldfinch stands on the plate covered by water. The fountain water is quite green, partially driven by the heavy use of the fountain by bathing goldfinches. The fountain is surrounded by flowering pots in plants and other vegetation
