Somebody is putting a *lot* of work into creating spam Fedi accounts, you can spot them by a post containing “google.co.<some-country-code>/share.google?q=" and then a whole lot of random hashtags. Please report if you see one.

I've got a new student, he is blind and requires voiceover to use his iPhone but his hands tremble quite harshly and he has fine control issues. He keeps double tapping accidentally and when he tries to tap voiceover often reads it as a swipe. I understand that touch accommodations are still […]

Cis women, If you have some sort of "Women's Group", or even just a circle of women who go and get lunch together, intentionally and explicitly invite trans women. A lot of us are reluctant about proactively inviting ourselves to places that we might encounter TERFs.

Reminder about masking: When I was visiting my wife in the hospital the last couple of days, I masked almost all the time (though not when I was in the room alone with her). I did that mainly because I didn't want to catch an infection *from* a sick patient, but now that I've come down with some […]

Mastodon image shares (vis #Tusky app) to Snapchat is surprisingly flawless. I found a #comic panel, opened the image to view, hit the share button, and selected an existing Snapchat convo. Bloop! Posted the image directly in the thread. That's wildly convenient and well-designed. It also […]
