It is not. I was: Active Duty Active Reserves Inactive Reserves Unless you were called up and sent to an active area while serving it is just a bit of training and hype to have a group of people to throw away if needed.

OMG I was sorting through some old bookmarks and clicked on the Smithsonian Zoo's Cheetah Cam link which I hadn't active in a long time. It turns out they have a cheetah who just had cubs on 10/5 and they are so cute. They're on the Den 1 stream right now.

Something else the Tohono O'odham have done is make a legal resolution of personhood of saguaros, the iconic cactus (🌵) unique to the Sonoran desert. Saguaros being respected as people is traditional, not new, but putting it in legal documentation could help in protecting this region.

A reminder that alt text is great for many reasons, in addition to providing info about an image for people with visual impairment. I use it all the time for reading text images. Also the second reason listed below made me giggle and also applies to me.
