Hey so real quick during the heat wave I've seen people recommending Liquid IV and it's good stuff! Don't have more than one of that brand in particular per day or you can end up with electrolyte toxicity. We've had people end up in the ER during camping events from it.

I continue to practice supported spindling. I really an finding preparation of fiber makes a huge difference. I am having a much easier time with rollags and punis than I was with straight combed top or roving for this style spinning. Who knows, long draw may be on the horizon! #handspinning 🧶

Holy shit @wired.com story written by a woman positioning gay men as insidious and suggesting this marginalized group is suppressing the success of straight men in the industry. They've got tons of anonymous sources (what's their agenda?) and in the first graph they even say this might not be true!

Why isn't *cis* a slur? Any slur is a derogatory word that refers to a group of people that share an identity which is seen as inferior, shameful or even criminal by members of the dominant group, the ones in power (financially, socially or politically etc).

I just finished watching my 1st Dimention 20 show, Burrow's End, and I would sacrifice my 90s vintage glow in the dark dice to game with @aabria.bsky.social as DM. I laughed. I cried. I was horrified. The players were safe to take emotional risks. I am just in awe of seeing a game run that well.

More rollag yarn progress. Got this happy little purple dragon ring distaff off Etsy. Perfect for stretched out rollags.
