Is it a Gen-X thing to have endured 5 layoffs? My first real FT job in 98 ended in a layoff when my division was relocated. I was laid off from another company due to a merger. I was laid off from an ad agency due to lack of business. Now being laid off due to federal and state aid cuts. I'm 46.
