The kids were out of the house, so my wife and I had a movie night. We watched the RuPaul comedy STOP! THAT! TRAIN! on Netflix. Not every joke hit, but a lot of them did, and I enjoyed the relentless silliness of the humor. It's pretty fun.

My email this morning contained a purchase confirmation of three tickets to see an upcoming horror movie at the Cinemark theater in Moosic, PA. The last four digits of the credit card used do match any of my cards or my wife's card. Moosic is 90 miles away, so I'm nowhere near. This is very weird.

I just watched MOTHER MARY. Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel are brilliant, and the movie is visually gorgeous. I liked the first half of the story more than the second half, but the second half will probably stay with me, if you know what I mean. Anyway, interesting film.

I just saw the documentary AMERICAN DOCTOR and feel absolutely wrecked. Parts of this movie are extremely difficult to watch, but it's is a vital piece of reporting. Easily one of the most important films of the year. (**** out of four)
