Good. I enjoyed the first three episodes more than I expected to. The show is unfortunately written in that annoying way where the writers assume the audience will be on their phones, but the characters and setup are quite fun. Hoping the show will evolve more as it goes along. #AvatarSevenHavens

writing in games should be closely linked with personification and progression. when we do level design we consider and manage the flow of the player’s attention, what to tempt with, what to highlight and what’s clutter. but it’s less common to give this sort of attention to narrative

I’m right there with you. The Acolyte was the first time I felt the streaming shows lived up to what Star Wars TV was meant to be. Andor is too prestige, and I too enjoyed Skelly Crew very much, but The Acolyte…that show rewired my brain just like TLJ did before it. It will always have my heart.

Kathleen wasn’t perfect, but she took risks and those risks paid off imo. All my favorite SW projects were big swings that she green-lit (The Acolyte, TLJ, The High Republic, Visions, Andor). I just don’t see us getting things like that going forward and I hate feeling that way.

Post 'The Acolyte' cancelation, I have very little faith in Disney Lucasfilm atm, especially after they shelved both the Hunt for Ben Solo and the Dawn of the Jedi (there's your hook for a new trilogy) films. Idk man. I hate being pessimistic but I've been hurt by this franchise one two many times.
