Fascinating insights into the early history of Zotero, including the fact that the name is the Albanian word for "to learn well or master". Hats off to everyone involved in this project. Also if you're not using Zotero, why not? Dump that closed rubbish you're using now and switch.

One crazy thing about Gen-AI (whether for coding, writing, whatever), is that it separates presentation and content quality. Before, if you found a tool with a very polished GUI, you could reasonably expect a certain level of care with the functionality. Now, if anything, it's the opposite.

This was such a monumental amount of work - we tracked groups of clonal fish from birth, all day, every day, for MONTHS, to figure out if we could predict group behavior. It's the coolest project giving us really great insight into what our expectations should be for group behavioral development!
