An hour with 4 transfers…I'm sure everything will work perfectly and you won't miss your flight. I used to take the ~30 minute run on the 97 from Tunney's Pasture to and from the airport to for years without any major issues and now it requires 3 transfers to three different trains.

I got a response to my Freedom of Information request regarding the LRT upload: There were no communications between the OCTranspo head, the mayor, the city manager or Metrolinx re the upload from March 1st to 26 September 2026. There is no $4 billion deal with the province.

Canada's ready if new West Coast pipeline prompts another oil boom, say PM, Alberta premier | CBC News

It's been a relatively quiet decade in Alberta's oilsands, but the federal and provincial governments believe a new West Coast pipeline coupled with policy shifts might help turn up the volume. Prime ...

We can’t even get the eastern Phase 2 extension open, and our airport link might be lucky if it’s running twice an hour.

It’s a little too the nose that he has “Half a billion for improving and restoring our roads”, “Local Roads Strategy”, and “Fix Ottawa’s 50 worst intersections“ in his platform … twice

Magical thinking: he's hoping that the Province and Feds step in to save Ottawa from his prolonged and deliberate budgeting incompetence. It's like me calling my parents from Mexico on Spring Break because I spent all my money on booze and weed.

He’s got big, “I’m going to catch the guy who shit in my pants” energy.

I hear a lot of “confused Americans” and write it off because they truly don’t know due to their media landscape (which is a massive problem in its own right), but when it’s coming from the head of an industry group it’s either willful ignorance or outright disingenuous behaviour.

“The true horror is us” is a well-worn trope but it sneaks up on you here. Bonus: soundtrack is amazing, especially when it veers into unsettling alien bleeps and bloops or the haunting, spare harmony of Crosby, Stills & Nash’s ‘Helplessly Hoping’. Worth a watch for a cerebral, sci-fi horror.
