Thanks, Jen. I'm trying. 🙏🤞🫶 Every day it's multiple horrors coming out of this administration. I do remain hopeful that somehow people will put an end to it, but it will take a long time to rebuild. I never believed so much damage could be done so quickly.

That dark wood sticking was eerie! Within the last year, there was a small fire that burned it, so it's not there now. 😢

An old, 2-story clapboard building that has dark peeling paint on one side, old and worn awnings on the front side. There are windows on the bottom floor on the side, but there are windows on both levels from the front of the building. Bare trees cast spooky shadows onto the building.

One of the oldest standing structures (built 1887) in South Pasadena, this building has served many purposes (a hotel, general store, and school – just to name a few). Many have felt strange presences throughout the building, particularly on the second floor. Considering it’s storied past, it might just be brimming with spirits.

Update: Since I took this photo in 2015 when it was known as the Meridian Iron Works, it has been restored and painted white. It now houses the South Pasadena Historical Society. Stories of being haunted still persist.

A almost golden sunset on the Marker Lake in the distance. Gives it reflections on the canal that i past when I was cycling early this week. Both side from the canal have reed beds that are lying in the darkness. The stripes in the sky are coming from airplanes.
