Came across this intriguingly named Serbian TV channel while wandering around various satellites today. Sadly I couldn't watch the Toxic Folk Tuner show, followed by Toxic Folk Club as I can't decrypt it... #toxicfolk #satelliteTV

Making a welcome change from the usual slew of emails on Bandcamp Friday, it's always a delight to have a message from Virginia Astley: "Apologies for not putting anything new up. I'd hoped to at least have a recording of something ... However, here's a picture of a Puffin." 😃

Another new internet receiver, the Majority Fitzwilliam. It uses the same firmware as their Bard radio, which isn't perfect, but still pretty good. This receiver is for use with Hi-Fi separates and has analogue, digital and optical audio outputs. It also does FM/DAB+/Bluetooth & auxillary in.

Splendid afternoon at The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever at the end of Southend pier yesterday. A few of my photos from the day, with hindsight I probably should've opted for the 100mm. #CanonFD #50mm #photography #SonyA6500 #KateBush #Wuthering #Southend

New internet radio, replacing my old ailing Roberts 93i stream radio. Seems like a rebadged and updated version of the latter, with slightly better functionality. A bit buggy, and unlike the 93i, there's no line level out, which is really annoying. #Majority #internetradio

A photos of my Majority Bard internet radio, showing the front panel. The display shows it 'tuned' to WFMU and Sheila B's Sophisticated Boom Boom show

Daylight and nightime 360-degree panoramic images over my neck of the woods. Bluesky doesn't handle such images in the correct fashion for viewing as intended, but, IMO, they're still worth a gander. #drone #photography #DJI #Mini4Pro #Canvey

Been asked to fix a MalletKAT Pro, with a somewhat baffling problem. No service manual or circuit diagrams available of course 🙄 #MalletKAT The user interface is kinda clunky, which isn't helping.

Had a chat with vocalist Brigitte Beraha outside Cafe Oto last year, she recommended Kevin Figes' Wallpaper Music albums, the latest is the best IMO. My fave tracks remind me of Robert Wyatt and Art Bears, while this reminds me of Alison Statton in Weekend: kevinfiges1.bandcamp.com/track/the-bi...

My latest project, a Portsdown 4 DATV RF transceiver, which also doubles as a Langstone multimode RF transceiver, using a Raspberry Pi 4. This is the control/display/interface circuitry, it requires an external ADALM Pluto SDR for the RF side. #BATC #tech #DATV #Portsdown #Pluto

The Portsdown main menu. Operation can be from 70 MHz to 3.4 GHz, in the allocated bands.
As you can see, the cut-out for the touchscreen isn't my best work; sadly I don't have a 3D printer, which would've made things cosmetically better. Not essential, but it could do with a grille over the loudspeaker cut-out, I've yet to find anything suitable.

A web stream of a DATV repeater, GB3JT, being tested.
