You might think that the fact that I am constantly petting her on pain of being screamed at would make getting work done difficult, and you wouldn't be wrong, per se, but being effectively immobilized for hours at a time balances that out and I am getting much better at typing one handed.

Eldest Feline has always been a bit standoffish--her routine is usually to stand *just* outside of arms reach and scream for petting. She is decidedly not a lap cat. Except recently, she insists on being curled up next to me so close she is very nearly on top of me, nearly every time I sit down.
