Let’s be clear about what "migration patterns have changed, so build less housing" really means. Housing supply & population growth are linked: Vancouver's migration shifted because it's so damn expensive. Using that to justify lower targets just says: "Can't afford to live here? Good. Stay out."

First-past-the-post doesn't stop early elections, as seen in ON, NS, and potentially BC. FPTP incentivises snap votes whenever polls hint at an increased artificial majority through key swing ridings. Proportional representation removes this incentive, encouraging parties to cooperate

I don't think Fry would be crummy, exactly, but his campaign so far has been vague and bland. Basically, "I've been here the whole time!" That's not enough to win it. If Fry doesn't have concrete plans, or can't pitch them, he could at least use the momentum to endorse Azaroff, who does and has.

The official report id'ed that a specific ethnic group's human rights were violated, literally to "limit population growth", but didn't connect that to genocide. A couple of panelists resigned and published their own report, because in their view, "violated human rights" is a stretch. "Experts"
