We had one conversation where he questioned how medical providers and insurance companies were allowed to get away with ruining people and I responded, "You're the one who's voted Republican for the last 40 years. That's how." Not my most empathetic moment but I think it might have gotten through!

The only person I actually *know* switched from voting for Trump in 2016 to voting for Biden in 2020 was my Dad. And all it took was my Mom's cancer resurging, them almost losing everything they owned and having to sell off 80% of their land to cover medical bills, and then her dying! Easy fix!

Once again frustrated by how difficult it is to just *not* buy plastic garbage. Went on a quest for a new laundry basket this morning. I should have realized (but did not until now) that most of the laundry baskets you see in stores that *look* like wicker are actually... Still plastic.

I did it! Procedure itself was fine because I was under sedation. The worst part of the actual medical stuff was just getting the IV put in because I have terrible luck with them. Now we await labs on the couple of polyps they removed.
