This artwork is a famous black-and-white gelatin silver photograph titled "Nude" (ca. 1930), or "Untitled (1925)", created by the influential modernist and surrealist artist Man Ray.

Man Ray (American, 1890–1976) was a key figure in Dada and Surrealism. A reclining nude draped in intricate floral lace, creating a surreal second-skin effect against a dark background and a lace-trimmed bedsheet. This print was part of the Ann Tenenbaum and Thomas H. Lee Collection and was gifted to the Met.
