People made fun of me growing up for listening to music in different languages, mostly for racist and stupid reasons. "How do you know what they're saying?" I look it up if I want to know, but you can get a feel for music even without words, and with them, tone and delivery matters.

At the time of the trans ban in women's rugby there were 200,000 men registered to play rugby union in England. 3000 women registered to play. And 7 trans women. The biggest story of the day wasn't sexism in sport making women's participation impossible, but trans people participating at all.

Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines. When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.

Keeping porn as a form of protected speech is crucial, bc if the gov can ban porn for being too "degenerate", they can (& will) ban anything else that they deem to be degenerate as well (Sex ed/CSA prevention, queerness, adult couples sending nudes to each other, non-sexual artistic nudity, etc)
