A patch of pink moss flox, with one flower not quite as pink as the rest. Hanover NH, May 2026 #ECK #Photography #PhotographersOfBluesky #Bloomscrolling #Flowers #MacroMonday #ColorADay #PinkMon

This image shows a patch of very pink moss flox blossoms, maybe a dozen in all. We have a nice view of their petals, which include a darker patch right at their bases, forming a circle at the center of each flower. Within the circle we can sometimes see hints of what look like yellow anthers. There is a range of degree of focus on the flowers, due to limited depth of field. One flower on the center left, which is a much lighter pink, is in very good focus, and we get a particularly good view of the texture of the petals and the anthers in the center. The background between the flowers is mostly black, with occasional hints of green bokeh.

Macro shot of a dandelion about to open. All of its pappus (feathery white bristles) are close together, all going the same direction rather than spread out like a puff. There are water droplets covering the entire blossom...on the sides, the tips. The background is very dark, contrasting with the white softness of the dandelion.

This is a black and white image of a foggy urban scene. In the background, much of what you can see has been masked out by the fog. In the foreground, and in the centre of the screen, you can see a Frisbee net

"Days I Don't Remember Due to Grief and Anger" Shelli Finch @stressart.bsky.social 18"x24" mixed media on canvas www.saatchiart.com/en-gr/art/Mi...

An abstract mixed-media painting dominated by shades of bubblegum and magenta pink against a hazy, off-white background.

The lower half of the canvas is a dense field of textured pink paint, featuring a central, dark violet "wound-like" shape that appears to drip downward. Thin, dark vertical lines and scribbles punctuate the composition, including a faint horizon line made of blue and black marks. Scattered throughout the piece are translucent rectangular strips resembling calendar clippings or dates. In the upper right, there is a simple, dark sketch of a circular object and a vertical structure, while the artist's signature, "S Finch," is visible in the bottom right corner.

I used Snapseed for editing. I cut different sections of the original image and layered them with varying opacity levels. I used black and white, noir, and curves to adjust contrast and shadows.
