the argentum camera app is one of the fastest, most straight forward ways into monochrome photography on iphone. it's a rather old app at this point, but it‘s still a street photographer's dream aboutgrau.com/blog/argentum #blog #writing #iamwriting #art #photography #app #monochrome #bnw #street

A patch of pink moss flox, with one flower not quite as pink as the rest. Hanover NH, May 2026 #ECK #Photography #PhotographersOfBluesky #Bloomscrolling #Flowers #MacroMonday #ColorADay #PinkMon

This image shows a patch of very pink moss flox blossoms, maybe a dozen in all. We have a nice view of their petals, which include a darker patch right at their bases, forming a circle at the center of each flower. Within the circle we can sometimes see hints of what look like yellow anthers. There is a range of degree of focus on the flowers, due to limited depth of field. One flower on the center left, which is a much lighter pink, is in very good focus, and we get a particularly good view of the texture of the petals and the anthers in the center. The background between the flowers is mostly black, with occasional hints of green bokeh.

We had a gorgeous morning of Fog a couple of days ago, so how could I not get out. Not all images are my usual fare, but fog changes everything anyway. #Photography #Monochrome #Landscape #Urban #Fujifilm #Fog #BlackAndWhite #Winter

This is a black and white image of a foggy urban scene. In the background, much of what you can see has been masked out by the fog. In the foreground, and in the centre of the screen, you can see a Frisbee net

And just to prove you should never rely solely on an app to tell you when a good sunset is predicted (the Aplenglow app was 'meh' about last night), I followed my instinct because of the cloud formations.. #Stunday #Tåsinge #Denmark #Photography #LandscapePhotography #PhotographersOfBlueSky
