FA has been my home stompin' grounds since '09 and we truly do not have any gallery spaces like it anymore! For artist and creator pals I HIGHLY reccomend looking into their ad space options (yes even for suggestive/18+)! Really cheap for what ya get. The one site I keep ads on to see whats new!

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

Even when I'm too busy to spend time on the site, I still throw them my $5. The community on Furaffinity has been the backbone of the fandom for decades and we need to start funding our community spaces better. Furaffinity is one of the few spaces we have left online that's community owned and run

Literally what happened to me after calling a furry out for racist posts during the BLM movement before he became a popular VTuber. Months later once he had his avatar he made a thirty minute video about how the callout hurt him. Not addressing his racism. Just the fear of losing his reputation.

Grab an audiobook that looks interesting and 3/4 through it takes a hard left into raunchy explicit sex scenes. It was still interesting but it was a bit jarring of a change in tone when it was using metaphor and allusion until the writer switched abruptly to just being blunt lol
